Better People

During the past year, Napier Port has focused on ensuring it recruits the best people and has invested heavily in training and professional development to grow its internal talent pool.

With 33 new full-time employees across its operations at the end of the financial year, the Port increased its workforce by 16 per cent.

Many of these new roles were in frontline operational and supervisor roles to help service seasonal demands, better manage the risk of fatigue and cater for overall growth.
