1. WHAT HAPPENS IF I ARRIVE EARLY?

Please try not to arrive any more than 20 minutes early. If you arrive too early and we already have trucks waiting, you may be asked to leave the site and return later. We will be monitoring the performance of the incoming trucks, operators who frequently arrive too early or late will be spoken to accordingly.

2. WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM GOING TO BE LATE?

If you are going to be late, please advise the General Cargo team as soon as possible. Depending on the schedule for the day, you may need to book into an alternative slot or we may be able to deal with you as soon as you arrive.

3. WILL it COST ME ANYTHING?

No, at this stage, we are implementing a pilot VBS to reduce congestion, utilise resource more efficiently, and provide a more consistent turnaround time. We will review the system in the future, but there will not be a fee initially.

4. WHAT HAPPENS IF THE FORECAST I PROVIDED THE PREVIOUS DAY CHANGES?

You will need to inform us as soon as possible of any changes to your forecast. If your truck loads increase, you will need to confirm this with the General Cargo team to obtain additional bookings. If the bookings are already full for the day, you may be refused.

If your truck loads decrease, you will still need to inform the General Cargo team so we can give slots to other operators who need them or allocate our resource to different tasks.

We will be reviewing the overall performance of the operators and action may be taken against operators who frequently fail to deliver their targets.
