The Port of Napier Ltd operates as a fully autonomous subsidiary of the Hawke's Bay Regional Investment Company (HBRIC), which holds a 100% shareholding. HBRIC appoints the Directors of Port of Napier Ltd.
HBRIC is an investment company established by the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council to manage some of its larger and future proposed investments in infrastructure within the region.
Napier Port's vision is to be central New Zealand's leading provider of port logistics services.
